Keepsake scans

A first look at your baby

Would you like a first look at your baby? If you are a client of Kéita, you can have a keepsake scan at our own practice at Dorpsstraat 182 in Zoetermeer. The scan is made by Denise or Michelle, midwives in our team who also make your other scans. So you see your baby move in a familiar setting, with people you already know.

We make 2D scans, from 6 to 36 weeks. We do not offer 3D or 4D scans. The keepsake scan is only for clients of Kéita.

Please note: this is not a medical scan and is not covered by health insurance.

After the scan you receive 2 black-and-white photos, and at the end of the scan you have the option of making a short video of about 1 minute of your baby.

Practical information

• When: the scans are done on different days and at different times of the week, and it is often also possible at the start or end of the day or in the evening.
• Booking: call our assistant Monday to Friday between 9.00-12.30 and 13.00-15.00 on 079-321 71 72, or email info@keita.nl to make an appointment.
• Location: Verloskundigenpraktijk Kéita, Dorpsstraat 182, Zoetermeer;
• Payment: by debit card, or the exact amount in cash, on site;
• Costs (not covered by health insurance):
  • 2D scan: €45 for 20 minutes including 2 black-and-white photos;
  • 2D scan: €50 for 20 minutes including 6 black-and-white photos

You may bring whoever you like to a keepsake scan, up to a maximum of 4 people because of the space in the scan room.

You have the right to cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the keepsake scan. If you cancel within 24 hours of the keepsake scan, no refund is possible.
