Your baby now grows 1 millimetre a day! Your baby is now 1 cm.
Your baby is now growing incredibly fast, about 1 millimetre a day! Where last week there were only a few little buds where the arms and legs will be, real arms and legs have now formed. And in the next few days the rest of the hands/fingers and feet/toes will develop at lightning speed. Compared to the rest of the body the head is very large. It will stay that way for quite a while: only later in the pregnancy does the body become relatively bigger.
