Your baby is now 34 cm and 800 grams.
This week the lungs form the air sacs (alveoli) and the vocal cords develop further. If your little one were born now, the baby would even be able to make a few little sounds. From now on you can make contact with your baby by rubbing your hands over your belly. If you place your hands on the side of your belly, you will notice that your little one moves towards them. The more often you do this, the sooner your little one will respond.
