Who are we?

How nice that you are taking a look at our team page. Did you know that the name Luna means ‘moon’? The moon symbolises the natural cycle of life and femininity, and is a constant light in the night. That is exactly what we want to be for you during your pregnancy. We are a close team of three regular midwives. If you start with Team Luna, we will be your familiar faces during this special time. From the first scan up to and including the first week with your baby: we are there for you.

What you can expect:

  • Your story comes first: because the three of us deliberately share your care, we know your situation and personal wishes inside out. You never have to explain your story twice.
  • Always a familiar face: we value calm and continuity. That is why in the last weeks of your pregnancy you also briefly meet the colleagues of Team Zola. Whoever is on call during your birth, there is always someone at your side whom you know and trust.
  • Together we create a relaxed, safe and trusted foundation, so that you can look forward to the birth of your baby with peace of mind.

Michelle Versluis-Huurman

Michelle. What Michelle loves most about midwifery? Seeing partners become parents, seeing a family come into being and grow into a beautiful (new) version of itself. And… it is extra special when they come back for their next baby and the little one has turned into a toddler or pre-schooler exploring the world. Michelle is also a mother of three young children, two sons and a daughter.
Specialisations: midwife, sonographer, Centering Pregnancy facilitator, practice owner

Iris Ros

Iris. With a lot of love, passion and enthusiasm, Iris guides (expectant) parents through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Personal care, a listening ear and an open atmosphere are very important to her. One of the youngest in the team, but certainly not the least skilled. With her up-to-date knowledge she keeps us sharp and points us to the latest insights.
