Who are we?

Did you know that the name Zola stands for ‘rest’, ‘calm’ and ‘earth’? That is exactly the foundation we want to offer you. We are a close team of three regular midwives within the practice. If you choose Team Zola, we choose you. We guide you from the very first scan through the intense hours of the birth and the first week with your baby.

Our care for you:

  • Personal attention: because the three of us deliberately share your care, we know your situation, background and specific wishes inside out. With us you are in trusted hands; you never have to explain your story twice.
  • Reliable back-up: calm also means knowing where you stand. To make sure you always have a familiar face at your side during the birth, in the last weeks of your pregnancy we also let you briefly meet our colleagues of Team Luna. Whoever is on call that day or night, there is someone beside you whom you know.
  • Together we create a relaxed, safe and trusted foundation, so that you can look forward to the birth of your baby with peace of mind.

Denise Keulers-Boezaard

Denise. Denise has been a familiar face for more than 15 years. She has seen hundreds of Zoetermeer babies being born and still finds it special every single time. However hard the work can be at times, she enjoys it enormously. Over the years Denise has also become a mother three times herself, of two sons and a daughter.
Specialisations: midwife, sonographer, Centering Pregnancy facilitator, contraception specialist, practice owner.

Hanieh Ghodsi

Hanieh. Hanieh joined our team in October 2024, but did you know that years ago, in a completely different part of the world, she was already guiding the very first moments of new life?

  • In 2008 Hanieh completed her training as a midwife in Iran.
  • In 2015 she came to the Netherlands.
  • In 2020 she started the midwifery programme at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
  • In the summer of 2024 she qualified as a midwife in the Netherlands.

  • After all those years of hard work, in which she not only learned Dutch but also completed her midwifery training all over again and became a mother of two wonderful little boys, she now has, as she puts it herself: “the privilege of guiding new life here in the Netherlands.”

    Anne-Marieke Honigh-Brak

Anne-Marieke. With more than ten years of experience in different places in the Netherlands, Anne-Marieke has felt completely at home at Verloskundigenpraktijk Kéita for a number of years now. For her, the work of a midwife is a unique and varied adventure every day. What she loves most? Witnessing the transformation up close: seeing how you grow step by step into your role as parents during the pregnancy. Anne-Marieke is a mother of four herself, so she knows better than anyone how special this time is.
